Lake Blackshear Fishing Report – November 2019

GON Staff | October 26, 2019

Blackshear: Level: Full pool. Temp: 69 degrees. Clarity: Clear.

Various Species: Brad McDaniel at Flint River Outdoors reports, “Crappie are being caught many ways, but the best deal is about 20-foot-deep brushpiles with minnows. Catfish—channels and flatheads—are being caught in good numbers. For the smaller, eating-size channels, worms are your best bet. For big flatheads, goldfish or small bream are the ticket. Bass are scattered all over the place and pretty hard to pattern. A ChatterBait is a good search bait. Once you find them, you can slow down with plastics. The bream bite is waning some, as it always does this time of year, but they are still biting decently on worms and crickets.”
