Lake Allatoona Fishing Report November 2013

GON Staff | October 30, 2013

Allatoona: Level: 6.2 feet below full pool Temperature: 71 degrees. Clarity: Clear.

Bass: Tournament angler Matt Driver reports, “The month of November is a stable month. Turn over and algae blooms are nearly over, and fishing is stabilizing, and bass are easily patterned. It’s time to crank! The Spro Little John DD cranked in the 6- to 13-foot range on secondary areas just off the main lake, and mixing it up with a Spro Fat John, is a killer right now. As the fronts continue to come through, the spinnerbait bite is picking up as well. Run main-lake points with a 1/2-oz. white spinnerbait with pink or white blades. As the month comes to an end, water temps will cool into the 50s, and it will be time for the Spro McStick jerkbait. Personally I am hoping for cold weather and a float-n-fly bite.”
