Lake Allatoona Fishing Report April 9, 2020

GON Staff | April 10, 2020

AllatoonaLevel: 3.2 feet below summer full pool. Temp: 62-64 degrees. Clarity: Slight stain to clear.

Stripers and Hybrids: Guide Robert Eidson, of First Bite Guide Service, reports, “The bite is wide open right now both up the river and on the main lake. Fishing just doesn’t get much better than it is right now. Shiners, threadfins and small gizzard shad are all working well. Fishing freelines early, and then downlines after the sun gets up, are our best bites. The bite is good from the south end of the lake to the extreme north end of the river. Grab the kids, and get out there. We are still open and have availability.”
