Georgia Saltwater Fishing Report – Sept. 11, 2023

Here’s a 32-inch redfish caught by one of Capt. David Newlin’s clients on Sept. 9.

Inshore: Capt. David Newlin reports, “The last couple of days the redfish bite has been smoking. It happens most years around this time. This morning (Sept. 9), we had a 15-fish limit in the boat in about 25 minutes. We released another 30 slot-limit fish and several around 30 inches before 10:30. It doesn’t ever get any better than that anywhere in the world. Live shrimp under a cork is working great. The last half of the low tide and the first hour of the incoming has been really good. This should keep going another six weeks or so.”
