Here’s the new No. 16 buck of all-time from Stephens County in GON’s Georgia Deer Records (gon.com/georgia-deer-records). Stuart Gaines killed the buck last Nov. 14. The 9-pointer had 139 total inches—including 24-inch main beams—and it netted 130 4/8.

It was a birthday bird last April for Jesse Stanley. His Gordon County gobbler came to a call Jesse got as a birthday gift. The tom had 1 1/8 spurs and an 11-inch beard.

The first-ever Carters Lake walleye was a good one for GON subscriber James Martin, of Dawsonville.
