Jason Tinsley, of Cumming, with his Forsyth County 8-pointer killed on Dec. 11. The buck netted 121 3/8.

Check out the big brows on this Tattnall County 15-pointer killed last season by Eddie King, of Reidsville. The rack netted 147 1/8 non-typical.

 

The early November hunt at Hard Labor Creek State Park last season produced this Morgan County 10-pointer for Tracey Johnson. Tracey shot the buck with the rifle he won as a weekly winner in the 2005 GON Truck-Buck Contest.

 

Talbot County produced this big 8-pointer last season for Jim Lewis, of Orchard Hill.

 

Jed Davis, of Perry, with his 10-point bow-kill taken on Nov. 3. He was hunting with his wife in Taylor County.

 

Greg Daney, of Roswell, was hunting in Houston County last season on Nov. 7 when he killed this 9-point buck.

 

Rochelle’s Charles Futch with his Wilcox County 9-pointer killed last season on Nov. 7.

 

GON subscriber Randy Hanson, of Folkston, was fishing in the Brunswick River when he caught this monster gar that measured 48 1/2 inches long.

Filling the freezer! The Baskins Family, of Lavonia, caught 25 catfish on Clarks Hill, with the biggest weighing 20 pounds.

 

Trebor Marple, accompanied by his service dog Presley, caught his first flathead catfish on Lake Allatoona.

 

Ed Miller ended his five-year turkey drought with a Towns County gobbler killed on April 11 during the 2024 season.

Washington County produced this nice buck for Walker Smith, of Bartow, during a Nov. 9 hunt in 2023.

 

Aubrey Dudley, 16, said this Wilkinson County gobbler with 1 1/2-inch spurs outsmarted them six times—but not seven!

 

A perch-colored Whopper Plopper was the right bait to tempt this 10.2-lb. bass for Alex Castro. Alex was fishing a lake on his family’s farm in Jackson County.
