GON Hunt Advisor Tim Dangar and his grandson Tyler Goddard doubled up on March 27 sitting side by side leaned up on a big oak tree. “It don’t get much better than that!” Tim said.

GON member Konrad Smith sent this picture of Joe Joe, 16, who caught and released this 7-foot lemon shark while fishing from the St. Simons Island beach this summer.

Beautiful black-water bass! John Harris, of Patterson, caught this 8-lb. largemouth while fishing the Little Satilla River on July 26.

This 2 1/2-lb. farm pond slab from Lamar County was caught by Bryan Rooks, of Culloden, on April 22.

Kimberley Watson, of Sharpsburg, with a 9-pointer, one of her two bucks from Coweta County during her first year of hunting.

Here’s a great first buck for Jennifer Fields, of Soperton. Jennifer made a great shot on the Treutlen County buck.

After passing five bucks and sitting through a good rain, Marietta’s Matt Holmes pulled the trigger on this nice Heard County 8-pointer Nov. 15.

Drew Gann, of Demorest, got it done on opening weekend this past turkey season. Drew said the White County gobbler was a great way to start the season.

Meriwether County produced this 200-lb. 8-point buck on Nov. 11 for Marc Passmore, of Jackson.

This Walton County 9-pointer was chasing two does across a bushhogged path in planted pines Nov. 1 when Hal Needham, of Covington, got his shot on the third pass.

Jackie Burdette, of Covington, shot this big Franklin County coyote on Jan. 31. “Predator hunting has become an exciting pastime while helping the farmer who leases our property from the loss of the new calves,” Jackie said.

This 8-point Upson County buck was behind a doe on Nov. 9 when Mike Willis, of Thomaston, took him down.

Mike Warren got this tall-tined 8-pointer in Lee County last season on Nov. 15.

Nice 11-pointer from Bibb County taken last season by Larry Newberry, of Lizella.

This wide-racked 8-point buck was killed in Madison County last season by Kenny King, of Danielsville.

Jon McCorkle, of Thomson, with his McDuffie County 8-pointer killed last Nov. 9.

Walton County produced this 10-pointer last year for John Rowell, of Monroe. John had tons of history with the buck.
