First cast magic! This Etowah River striper hit at 7:30 a.m. on Kevin Nichols’ first cast of the morning. The Acworth angler caught the 34-lb. lineside on July 10 while fishing a live shad.

Here’s one of the better bucks from Warren County we’ve seen in a while. Travis Smith, of Bogart, killed the tall-tined 9-pointer last Oct. 29.

Nathan McIntyre, of Cleveland, killed this rare white gobbler on April 5, Easter Sunday morning, when it came in strutting and gobbling with a hen and a jake. Nathan was hunting in White County. Naturally occurring white turkeys are commonly called smoke-phase birds, while a true albino turkey is all white and has pink eyes.

James Kittrell, of Bishop, shot this big boar on March 5. It was in a herd of about 25 wild hogs in Morgan County near Jacks Creek.

This Monroe County 11-pointer came down the same trail a smaller buck traveled 25 minutes earlier. Terry Roberson, of Forsyth, shot the buck on Nov. 4.

Butts County produced this impressive buck last Nov. 7 for Adam Bentley, of Locust Grove.

Christopher Johnson, of Oakwood, caught this 50-lb. catfish this summer at the Apalachee River above Lake Oconee while using live bait.

Graham Watkins, 16, from Gainesville, with his Hall County 8-pointer taken on Dec. 6 last year.

Wilkes County produced this 8-point buck last Nov. 15 for Matt Filbeck, a former Marine who lives in Atlanta.
