This big wild hog was killed last November in Telfair County by Rome’s Taylor Dowdy.

 

Matthew Rudd, currently living in Statesboro and from LaGrange, with a pair of wood ducks he killed on the Ogeechee River last season. The hen was banded in Maryland.

 

Here’s the No. 24 Warren County buck of all-time in GON’s Georgia Deer Records. James Horton, of Mitchell, shot the 8-pointer last season on Oct. 22. The big 8 has a 12-inch tine and 18 1/2-inch inside spread, and it netted 136 6/8.

 

Andrew Folsom had his dad Chad on the calls for his first bird, killed in Carroll County.

 

Elaine Hoyt, 76, made a perfect 25-yard shot with her crossbow to down this 7-point buck in Forsyth County on Oct. 2. This is Elaine’s seventh buck in seven years—she started deer hunting at age 70!

 

First bear with a bow for Dylan Beasley. Dylan was bowhunting in Dawson County when he shot the bear Sept. 18.

 

After never seeing a coyote before while deer hunting, Hull’s Donald Watkins saw three last season and killed this black coyote. He hunts in Madison County.

 

Dawson Holland, of Jasper, got his first buck last season in January, and an hour later he shot a doe. He was 16 years old.

 

Audrey Carrin was 17 when she got her first buck last November—an impressive Henry County deer.

 

Ashlie Bell, of Kennesaw, caught her personal-best bass while fishing a private lake in Lee County on July 22. Ashlie’s bass weighed 8-lbs., 15-ozs.

 

A Wilcox County bowhunt on opening day produced this 3×5 8-pointer for Nick Lanneau, of Cordele.

 

Newborn’s Lindsey Long downed this Newton County 8-pointer on opening day of archery season while bowhunting with her husband.

 

Jason Stoughton, of Dallas, arrowed this Cobb County 10-pointer during the first week of archery season.

 

Great first deer with a bow for Jase Burris, of Bloomingdale. Jase was hunting in Bulloch County on Sept. 15 when he made a 21-yard shot on the 8-pointer.

 

Hunter Franklin, of Thomaston, with her Hancock County 11-pointer taken with a crossbow on Sept. 15.

 

Hope Morton, of Elberton, got this Elbert County 10-point buck with her compound bow on opening day of archery season.

 

Cody Lauer, of Fort Myers, Fla., with his Warren County 7-point crossbow buck.

 

Opening day on a Meriwether County dove field was good to Carrie Neal, of Forsyth.

 

Jordan Bellamy, of Waycross, was 16 last season when she downed this Ware County buck while hunting her Papa.

 

His first-ever gobbler was a good one! Drew Helm, of Jefferson, was hunting in Jasper County last season when he got his gobbler.
