“My first big kill, age 75!” said GON member Barbara Anderson, of Murphy, N.C. Barbara got her buck in Cherokee County last Nov. 8.

Jackie Burdette, of Covington, killed this coyote in Franklin County. “I don’t have any turkeys left on my property due to coyotes, but now I have a new exciting hobby of predator hunting,” Jackie said.

Here’s an opening morning buck from the 2018 season. Mike Thornton, of Jonesboro, got the 8-pointer in Talbot County after spotting it when two does in a food plot froze and stared into some pines.
