Here’s a nice bass from a private Morgan County lake. Wynn Howard, of Bostwick, was throwing a Zara Spook on June 8 when the bass hit on top.

 

Dodd Wynne killed his first-ever wild hog while hunting Redlands WMA. The boar weighed approximately 200 pounds and was shot at 11:45 a.m.

 

The Brantley family got in some fishing during a trip to Jekyll Island in September. Matt Brantley caught this big redfish while surf fishing.

 

This 306-lb. south Georgia bear was killed by Brittany Barr, of Callahan, Fla. Brittany was hunting the Big Swamp Hunt Club near Waycross on Sept. 25, 2014.

 

Cretes Watts, of Douglasville, said she wanted a wild hog for her birthday, and that’s what she got! Cretes was on a night hunt in Crisp County last month.

 

Opening day of archery season was good for Rick McDaniel, of Acworth. Rick was hunting in Meriwether County when he got this nice buck with his crossbow.

 

Kayla Brown, of Woodbury, with her first dolphin, a 25-pounder caught on a rigged ballyhoo while fishing a charter out of Stuart, Fla.

 

There’s nothing like fishing a good farm pond! Bryan Rooks, of Culloden, with a nice bass he boated from the family’s lake in Lamar County.
