Congrats to Lindsey Hill, of Cedartown, who got her first deer when a doe bolted out of a Polk County creek bed. Her dad Mike Hill downed the buck that was chasing the doe.

Brad Grainger with his first gobbler, taken in Laurens County on opening day.

This 10-foot, 3-inch swamp bull was on the Ocmulgee River. Brian Walton harvested the gator on opening day of the 2022 Georgia alligator season.

One Colquitt County farm produced three big bucks in a 10-minute span. From the left are Wade Hurst with his 13-pointer, Brett Booth with his 9-point and Amanda Smith with her 11-pointer.

Glenn Sneed, of Griffin, with his personal best largemouth weighing 6.21. Glenn caught the bass from a Henry County farm pond.

David Thornhill and Mark Adams, both from Grovetown, with a mess of seatrout, redfish and sheepshead. They went fishing Nov. 19 out of Two Way Fish Camp in Brunswick with Chris Futch of Altamaha Outfitters.

Rodney Kilby, of Clayton, with a super mountain buck he killed in Rabun County on Nov. 30.

Here’s a very nice buck from northeast Georgia public land. Amanda Bryson, of Clarkesville, was hunting Lake Russell WMA on Oct. 9 when she downed this 10-pointer.

Anna Brantley, of Macon, with her Crawford County 8-point buck taken the morning of Oct. 25 when he came out into a food plot to feed.

Josh Waller with an 8 1/2-lb. bass caught from a farm pond on May 25 in his home county, Madison.

Longtime GON subscriber Bill Troxell, of Milledgeville, with a 191-lb. wild hog he killed in Wilkinson County while hunting with his .50 caliber muzzleloader.
