Joey Swanson, of Blairsville, got drawn for the Red Top Mtn. State Park hunt in November and went home with this nice buck.

Snow goose, in Georgia? Very uncommon. Bret Petite killed this snow on Lake Oconee this season.

Scott Brown, of Winston, shot this main-frame 9-pointer with a drop tine coming off one of the G2s. Scott got the buck on Oct. 23 in Greene County while it was chasing does. It is Scott’s biggest buck with a rough gross score of 156.

Blair Madryga shows off a healthy Carters Lake walleye caught and released Dec. 28. The fish hit a Keitech swimmer in 90 feet of water. Blair said, “Did not get a weight on it, but I’d estimate between 5 and 6 pounds.”

Julie Shaw, a GON subscriber from Jacksonville, Fla., shot this Appling County buck on Nov. 5 while she was nine months pregnant.

The early November hunt at B.F. Grant WMA produced this 10-pointer for Daniel Gullion, of Hillard, Fla.

The Madison County bucks were fighting during the Oct. 25 hunt when Greensboro’s Doug Foppe got this 8-pointer while set up on a food plot.

Clay Bishop, of Juliette, got this 4×2 6-pointer while hunting with his bow on Oct. 27. The Jones County buck was following three does.
