Brad Gill | December 1, 2020

GON has always enjoyed celebrating “Firsts,” so this month is dedicated to several of the first deer photos we’ve received this season. If you haven’t seen your photo published yet, please hang in there. We’re trying our best, so that we can celebrate with you!

Abe Drake, 8, of Danielsville,   took his first deer in Madison County on Nov. 1. He was using a Remington .270.

Elijah Clark, 7, of Dalton, killed his first deer in Spalding County on Oct. 11 using his Pop’s 30-30.

Hunter Cook, 6, made the trek from Rome to Griffin to kill this buck on Oct. 18.

Blood on the cheeks for Hunter Fleming, 8, of Millen, after he shot this Jenkins County buck on Oct. 27.

Seven-year-old Luke Dawson, of Cairo, wasn’t playing around on Nov. 2 when he knocked down his first deer in Grady County.

All smiles! Seven-year-old Luke Fenchak, of Lilburn, made an 80-yard shot with his .243 in Dublin Nov. 14.

All smiles for Madison Hyder, 12, after taking this 8-point in Whitfield County on Oct. 30.
