Lake Jackson Fishing Report – November 2019

GON Staff | October 26, 2019

Jackson: Level: Full. Temp: 72-77 degrees. Clarity: Stained.

Bass: Tournament angler Brian Lee reports, “Topwater is still producing a few fish, but you will make a thousand casts for two bites, the right bites. A squarebill Little John with some chartreuse in it is my go-to crankbait. Fish any hard structure you can find. A ChatterBait fished around docks and laydowns will catch some good quality fish, as well. This time of the year is pretty simple. Put a moving bait in the water and keep moving. Look for the fish to be in 5 to 10 feet of water pretty much all day. Don’t forget a blood/blue jig around these same locations.”
