Hunt Story
Me and my son had been watching this deer. We both hunted Saturday morning till 11:15. We came out for a quick bite, and I went back at 3:00. He decided to wait till the following morning, so I went to my stand alone. After hours of practice with the stick and string, I felt I was ready. After hours in the stand and a few wind shifts, I spotted him about 80 yards away. After closing my eyes and several prayers later, he was within 40 yards. Finally after one last prayer he was at 27 yards. I drew and released the arrow—a pass-through. He ran to 45 yards and stopped, then the ol' wobble and to the ground he went. Just some more proof that the Good Lord shines on sinners.
