Hunt Story
I had not personally seen this deer but my hunting partner & others have trail-cam pictures of him. It was a slow Saturday morning, but I did see a small 4-point come through the woods about an hour before the 9-point came into view. First thing I saw was his legs. The sun was in my eyes and scope, it took a minute to get a clear view of him. Once I had him in the crosshairs clearly, I pulled the trigger. He immediately drops to his knees plowing up the ground for about 40 yards. He was trying to get up to try to run & I shot again, killing him instantly.
