Hunt Story
I decided to go to my hunting lease on Wednesday before Thanksgiving to give it another try to catch my target buck cruising for does. Since I have only seen him on camera I thought this would be a good time to get out and give it a try. I got to the lease around 3:00 in the afternoon and by the time I got to the stand and settled in it was about 3:30. That is a little later than normal. After about 10 minutes I had a young buck come through cruising, after about 20 minutes later I caught movement in the pallmettos out in front of me it didn't take long to see the it was him. He was more impressive than what I had on pictures but he was cruising so I had to make a quick shot which worked out well he fell right on the spot.
