Hunt Story
I stayed up later than I should the night before. My dad had to wake me up 3 times. We got to the deer stand at sunrise, later than we should have. We saw 1 spike at 8 am. At 10 am a big doe walked out across the power line, my dad told me to get my rifle. My dad then saw to the right of the doe another deer. He looked at it with his binoculars, and said it’s a buck, he’s a shooter, shoot the one on the right. I raised my rifle and aimed, he started walking towards the doe, my dad yelled, he stopped, and I squeezed the trigger. He walked to the edge of the power line where he fell into a bush. This was my first buck.
