Hunt Story
We started getting pictures of this deer in July. He has consumed all of our time since then studying his behavior. My 11 year old claimed this deer before season ever started. We played cat and mouse with him the first month of the season. We would pick one stand and he would show up at another. We had it narrowed down to 3 stands he would get killed on. I made a bad decision and sent him and his mom to the wrong stand one afternoon I had to work. I was devastated when he showed up on camera at the other stand. We have spent hours hunting this deer. He finally showed Sunday afternoon about 530 pm and he made 150yard shot on him and the excitement began. It was emotional for a few minutes, I wanted everything in the world for my son to harvest this deer. He passed on some very nice 130in deer waiting on his deer and he got him. I’m a proud dad.
