I’ve been watching this guy for several weeks on a new piece of property. I knew he was bedded close because of all the daylight appearances. I skipped opening morning and he came in at 9:40 a.m. I hunted him all day Sunday with no sighting but good movement. Monday he showed up at lunch so I knew he was close. I got in at 4 p.m. and he came in at 7 p.m. I watched him at 18 yards for about 5 minutes before having the opportunity to take a shot. He went less than 50 yards.
