Woods-N-Water Hunt/Fish Outfitters Voted Best In Georgia

Woods-N-Water hunting and and fishing outfitters, one of GON‘s Youth Big-Buck Contest sponsors, was recently voted “Best of Georgia”‘ in the Hunting and Fishing Services category by the Georgia Business Journal.
“Everyone at Woods-N-Water Services is truly honored and blessed to have received the Georgia Business Journal 2021 Best in Georgia award,” said Blaine Burley, president/owner of Woods-N-Water in middle Georgia.

Woods-N-Water Services specializes in offering high-quality, affordable hunting and fishing adventures throughout central Georgia. Woods-N-Water offers trophy deer hunting, wild hog hunting, turkey hunting and bass fishing packages to individuals, families and corporate groups. Native American Indian artifact hunting has recently been added to their list of outdoor adventures.
“We would like to thank those of you who nominated us and everyone who voted for us to receive this prestigious award,” said Blaine. “We all strive to provide our customers the best, safest and most memorable outdoor experience possible. We have some of the best properties, facilities and employees in the industry. We are very thankful to have had a very successful business for over 25 years and that we have so many repeat customers every year.”
Woods-N-Water began in 1995 when Blaine finished a 12-year career as a Natural Resources Officer in the United States Air Force. Blaine and his wife Conni returned to her hometown of Wrightsville and started the company. Since then Blaine has more than 35 years of experience in land and wildlife management. Blaine served as a TV show host for the popular “Bucks of Tecomate” on the Outdoor Channel for 10 years and has hunted big game animals around the world.
“We strive to offer our customers the absolute best outdoor experience possible, whether they are experienced outdoorsmen or if they just want to get out of the city and try hunting and/or fishing for the very first time,” said Blaine.
Blaine said it’s a year-round job growing big bucks like this for his clients to hunt.
Currently, Woods-N-Water Services has more than 7,000 acres of private hunting property that they extensively manage year-round for all types of wild game. These properties are all located in central Georgia, mainly in Johnson, Washington, Laurens, Jefferson and Wilkinson counties. Woods-N-Water Services also has two main lodging facilities that are used to lodge and accommodate their customers: Woods-N-Water Lodge (Johnson County) and Woods-N-Water Plantation (Wilkinson County).
