Save The Dates! 2023 Ag-Pro Outdoor Blast Is July 28-30

Just before the kids have to go back to school, there’s a great way to put a wrap on a Georgia summer while getting pumped up and ready for the upcoming hunting seasons. The Ag-Pro GON Outdoor Blast returns to the LakePoint Sports Champions Center in Emerson near Lake Allatoona the last weekend in July.

The 2023 event is presented by Georgia Drives Chevy and sponsored by Kenzie’s Optics.

New this year are trapping seminars presented by members of the Georgia Trappers Association. The 30-30 Ministries $1K Shoot-Out is back, with qualifying beginning at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 29. Anyone can step into the Truck-Buck Shoot Arena and qualify for the chance to win $1,000. Qualifying is $5 for one shot or $10 for three shots at an egg from the 45-foot stage. Qualifiers will shoot at the egg from 60 feet until we have a $1,000 winner.

Also back this year is the Bass Tub and fishing seminars. Only at the Outdoor Blast do attendees have a free chance in an hourly drawing for a gun—no raffle tickets to buy. The show will feature hundreds of hunting and fishing vendors, many offering special bargains. Also at the Blast will be the Truck-Buck Shoot-Out and Yonah Invitational Turkey Calling Championships, an NWTF Grand National Qualifier. David Vaughn, of Carnesville, won the first-ever $1K Shoot-Out—and took home a thousand bucks! David was no stranger to the Shoot-Out stage, having competed in the 1993 Truck-Buck Shoot-Out as a finalist in the 1992-93 big-buck contest.

The Ag-Pro GON Outdoor Blast sells out of vendor space yearly, but with the move to the LakePoint Champions Center the show expanded to more than 125,000 square feet. New exhibitors can join this special weekend to promote their products and services and meet thousands of sportsmen, but only hunting and fishing related products and businesses are allowed.
