DNR LE Partners With Army For Program

GON Staff | March 8, 2022

The Law Enforcement Division (LED) of Georgia’s Department of Natural Resources entered into a partnership with the U.S. Army for a program that helps soldiers find employment once their important service to our country is completed.

LED entered into an MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) with the U.S. Army for the Partnership for Youth Success (PaYS) Program. The signing ceremony was held at LED headquarters in Social Circle on Dec. 2, 2021.

PaYS is a strategic partnership between the U.S. Army and a cross-section of corporations, companies and public sector agencies. PaYS provides America’s youth with an opportunity to serve their country while they prepare for their future by guaranteeing soldiers an interview and possible employment. The partnership with GA DNR LED will hopefully lead to Army men and women continuing their service by protecting Georgia’s sportsmen and natural resources.
