9-Point On Video For Teen’s First Bow-Kill

Fourteen-year-old Caden Cawthon set his bowhunting bar pretty high with his first deer even taken with his bow. Caden, from Martin, had seen six does feeding on acorns the evening of Oct. 20 when he heard another deer coming through a thicket. A 9-point came through an opening feeding slowly on the acorns, and Caden made a 34-yard shot. The buck only went 50 yards.
