Brad Stalnaker rolled to a first-place finish in the Jan. 12 ABA tournament on Lake Oconee with almost a 4 1/2-lb. margin over second place. Brad had a five-bass limit that weighed 19.13 pounds. He earned $735 for first.

Second place went to Kip Carver, who had 13.85 pounds. The tournament drew 35 anglers, including many of the Lake Country’s top tournament anglers. Big fish and the $175 prize for the tourney went to Danny Taylor for his 6.01-lb. bass, but it was the only keeper he weighed.

Danny Taylor caught a 6.01-lb. largemouth to earn Big Fish honors at the Jan. 12 Lake Oconee tournament.

Michael Purvis had Big Fish during the Jan. 5 Berry’s tournament on Lake Sinclair. It weighed 6.53 pounds and earned a $1,210 check.
