Clarks Hill: Level: 4.8 below 330. Temp: Mid 80s. Clarity: Clear. Bass: D.J Hadden, with Hadden Outdoors, says, “September is a month of transition for the herring and the bass on Clarks Hill. The lake level should stay down 4 to 6 feet. The bluebacks will start to move to main-lake points and humps. Surface activity should pick up all through the month. I am going after these fish with topwater, like a chrome Gunfish or a chrome Evergreen 125 and a white Zoom Super Fluke or Spro Sashimmy.
