Lake Tobesofkee Fishing Report September 2013

GON Staff | August 28, 2013

Tobesofkee: Temp: 80 degrees. Clarity: Light stain.

Bass:
Clayton Batts reports, “The bite has remained consistent over the past month and has been better than many summers in the past. The topwater bite has been better then average in the low-light hours. Throw a Pop-R around seawalls and grass on the main lake to look for active fish. The key to this bite is covering a lot of water looking for active fish. Fishing a Gamakatsu Alien Head with a Big Bite Baits green-pumpkin Shaking Squirrel around rocks and docks is another good pattern working right now when the sun gets up. The night bite has been the best over the past month and should get better as September rolls around. Fish the dock lights Tobesofkee has to offer and any brush that you find around the docks. Use a black Big Bite Baits finesse worm and a 1/4-oz. Fish Catchin Fool tungsten weight.”
