Lake Tobesofkee Fishing Report – September 2009

GON Staff | August 25, 2009

Tobesofkee: Level: Full pool. Temp: 86-88 degrees. Clarity: Clear.

Bass:
Fair. “Fishing is tough with all the hot weather. The best time to catch them right now is early and late in the day and at night,” said Clayton Batts. “There is a pretty good topwater bite going on early and late on a Spro Hydra Pop around grassbeds and seawalls. When the sun gets high, fish the deeper docks with brush around them with a Big Bite Baits 6-inch finesse worm in green pumpkin on a 1/8-oz. shaky head. There have also been some fish coming off points and humps on a Carolina rig or crankbait.”
