Lake Tobesofkee Fishing Report – November 2009

GON Staff | October 27, 2009

Tobesofkee: Level: Full pool. Temp: Upper 60s degrees. Clarity: Slight stain.

Bass:
Good. Clayton Batts reports, “Bass are starting to move back in the creeks following bait. Fish a Spro Aruku Shad around grass that leads back into the pockets and in the middle of the backs of the pockets. The dock bite should get better as fish move back in the creeks and hold around the docks as they move back and forth from the creeks. Fish a green-pumpkin, Big Bite Baits finesse worm on a 3/16-oz. shaky head around the outer posts of the docks, and dead stick it whenever you hit and brush around the docks. Look for the jig bite and small crankbait bite to turn on as the month rolls along. Fish a Spro finesse jig in black and blue on 17-lb. GAMMA Fluorocarbon around rocky banks that are close to deep water and in the grass that has good water around it. Also, throw a Spro Little John in these same areas bumping it off any cover that is available.”
