Lake Tobesofkee Fishing Report June 2014

GON Staff | May 28, 2014

Tobesofkee: Level: Full pool. Temp: Upper 70s. Clarity: Light stain.

Bass: Clayton Batts reports, “Bass are starting to move into there summer patterns around brush and humps. Fish a redbug Big Bite Baits Finesse worm around brush that is around docks near deep water. Look for fish around humps and main-lake points on your Lowrance SideScan. These fish can be caught on a variety of baits once they are located. The better bites have been coming on a Secret Lures football jig and a SPRO Little John DD, while numbers can be caught on a Carolina-rigged Big Bite Baits Finesse Worm. There is still a good grass bite going on right now early and late. Fish a Pop-R or a Secret Lures Swim Jig around main-lake grassbeds, and cover a lot of water to locate fish that are actively feeding.”
