Lake Tobesofkee Fishing Report – July 2010

GON Staff | June 30, 2010

Tobesofkee: Level: Full pool. Temp: 90-92 degrees. Clarity: Clear.

Bass: Fair to good. Clayton Batts reports, “The bites early and late have been the two best bites with all the heat and jet skis on the lake. Fish a white Picasso buzzbait or a Rebel Pop-R around seawalls and grass lines for aggressive fish feeding at these peak hours as they chase shad. When the sun gets up, fish a Big Bite Baits 6-inch finesse worm or a Kriet Tail worm in green pumpkin under docks and in any brush that you can find around docks and on points. There has also been a decent crankbait bite on some of the humps and ditches on a Spro Little John DD in nasty shad. After the sun goes down, fish brush around seawalls and docks with dark-colored plastics, such as black or blueberry.”
