Lake Tobesofkee Fishing Report January 2014

GON Staff | December 30, 2013

Tobesfokee: Bass: Tournament pro Clayton Batts reports, “Fishing has been good even with all the rain because of the unseasonably warm weather, but don’t look for this weather to last to long. Cover lots of water with a Spro Little John Crankbait in root beer-chartreuse or pig pen colors after a couple days of warm weather. This bite has been getting better as the day goes on and the fish get more active. Look for the jig bite and the Aruku Shad bites to get better as the colder weather sets in. Fish a black/blue Secret Lures HD flipping jig with a green-pumpkin Big Bite Baits chunk around main-lake rocky banks and the deeper side of the pockets. The other good pattern that should start to develop is yo-yoing the Aruku Shad in the middle of the pockets.”
