GON Staff | October 26, 2016

Seminole: Level: 1.1 feet below full pool. Temp: Mid 70s to upper 70s. Clarity: Clear. The grass is in good shape for duck season. The season will depend on colder weather in the north on the Mississippi flyway.

Bass: Guide Aaron Crews reports, “The bass are on a flipping bite, according to Mike at West Side Bait and Tackle. I believe the crankbait and topwater bites will become better with bass chasing shad.”

Bream: Guide Aaron Crews reports, “According to Liz at Trails End, the pan fishing is slow. The few being caught are in 7 to 12 feet of water on worms.”

Crappie: Guide Aaron Crews reports, “The crappie are biting on minnows in 12 to 20 feet of water.”

Catfish: Guide Aaron Crews reports, “The catfishermen are having limited success in 12 to 20 feet of water on cut bait and worms.”
