Lake Seminole Fishing Report – June 2025

GON Staff | May 28, 2025

Seminole: Level: 0.7 feet below 77.5. Temp: 78-85 degrees. Clarity: The two rivers are stained, but Spring Creek is clear.

Bass: Capt. Paul Tyre reports, “Bass fishing is excellent! If you’re planning a trip to Lake Seminole this June, there are three topwater baits to have in your tackle box. First, plan on having a hollow-body frog and using heavy braided line to fish around the grass mats on the main lake. Second is a buzzbait fished along the grasslines. A buzzbait is a great choice for covering water and will catch actively feeding bass. Third is a walking bait, like a 6th Sense CatWalk. This bait has a great action that draws ferocious strikes!”

This crew had a great trip with Capt. Paul Tyre on Lake Seminole.

Bream: Capt. Paul Tyre reports, “The shellcracker are still bedding, and the bream have just stating to bed. The bluegill will be bedding and can be found on the shallow sandbars in  3 to 5 feet of water. Fish worms for the shellcracker and crickets for the bluegill.”
