Lake Seminole Fishing Report June 2015

GON Staff | May 28, 2015

Seminole: Level: 0.6 feet above full pool. Temp. Mid 80s. Clarity: The Chattahoochee is stained, the Flint is slightly stained, and Spring Creek is clear.

Bass:
Guide Aaron Crews reports, “At this time fishing is a little slow for bass. This will improve with water clarity and mayfly hatches. Topwater for bass should take off soon. Try a Devil’s Horse in Tennessee shad or silver shiner, as well as Speed Worms fished with 1/32- or 1/8-oz. weights in watermelon with red flake. If the water continues to be clear, the frog and toad bite will develop.”

Bream:
Aaron said, “Get your fly rods and reels ready for the mayfly hatches. The bigger shellcracker and redbreast seem to favor worms, with crickets seeming to be the favorite of the smaller redbreasts and shellcracker.”
