Lake Nottely Fishing Report – June 2023

GON Staff | May 24, 2023

Nottely: Level: 1.3 above 1775 Temp: 71-74 degrees. Clarity: Clear.

Stripers: Guide Jeremy Seabolt, of Lake Nottely Fishing Charter, reports, “Fishing has started to pick back up. We have been catching a lot fish on topwater in the a.m. and an hour before dark. Freelines and herring pulled behind boards have also been good. The bait have been spawning everywhere so we have also been throwing a Red Fin on rocky banks and catching a lot of small stripes and hybrids. We have started seeing a few good schools of fish out over 30 to 70 feet of water. Going into June, we will start looking for schools of fish to start showing up in deeper water, so downlined herring will be the go-to approach to catch fish.”
