Lake Nottely Fishing Report – June 2019

GON Staff | May 28, 2019

Nottely: Level: Full pool. Temp: 72-77 degrees. Clarity: Clear on the main lake.

Linesides: Guide Jeremy Seabolt reports, “The fishing has been good. We have been catching fish from the dam all way up to the Canal Lake ramp. There has been some nice healthy fish showing up so far, and the numbers have been OK. We have been catching fish first thing in the morning pulling large shad and herring up on long points in the creek and river channels. Once the sun gets up, the fish are moving out to a 30- to 40-foot bottom. Then, we are catching them on downlines with herring. Going into June, the fish will be going into their transition to start setting up on there summertime patterns. Then it will be time to start watching your Lowrance for schools of fish. The fish should be on their way out of the river and will be hungry. Start looking for the fish from Point 8 to the dam.”
