Lake Nottely Fishing Report – June 2006

GON Staff | May 23, 2006

Level: 3.9 feet below full pool. Temp: 65 degrees. Clarity: Clear.

Bass: Slow, according to Ronnie McDonald. “They brought the lake level up suddenly, and during the middle of the spawn, and that seems to have the fish messed up. It only took six pounds to win the last tournament,” he said.

Striper/Hybrids: Good. “The topwater bite has been strong,” said Ronnie. “The fish are coming up in the lower half of the lake, and it is pretty much a morning bite, and then it is over. They are catching them on things like Zara Spooks, flukes, and jerkbaits like a Pointer 100.”
