Lake Nottely Fishing Report January 2018

GON Staff | January 5, 2018

Nottely: Level: 13 feet below full. Temp: 46-54 degrees. Clarity: Creeks are stained.

Stripers: Guide Jeremy Seabolt reports, “Fishing has been up and down. Fish are loading up in the mouths of the creeks and on long points. We have been catching more fish downlining herring and bucktail jigs tipped with herring. There are a few fish still schooling on top, but the best bet is to look for the bait and drop herring. Going into January, the fishing should pick up, and we should start catching fish on trout up in the creeks.”
