Lake Nottely Fishing Report – February 2020

GON Staff | January 30, 2020

Nottely: Level: 13.3 feet low. Temp: 48-51 degrees. Clarity: The creeks and river are stained but fishable.

Linesides: Guide Jeremy Seabolt reports, “The fishing has been OK—we have been having to work for them. They are on the move with the bait. We have been finding most of our fish out over deeper water and have been catching them on freelines and downlines. Herring dropped around 20 to 25 feet have been the key the last few days. Going into February, if we get a die-off of threadfins, then we well be keying in on small baits and working them slow and off the bottom. If it warms up, I will be looking for the fish to be making their way back up in the creeks mid month. Toward the end of February, I will start keying in on the bigger baits.”
