Lake Nottely Fishing Report – February 2009

GON Staff | January 27, 2009

Nottely: Level: 12.5 feet below full pool. Temp: Mid to high 40s. Clarity: Clear.

Bass:
Slow. Look for a few warm days to move the fish to wind-blown points and pockets. A pearl-colored Zoom Super Fluke on a 1/8-oz. lead is a good bait to try if you can find a mud line. If that doesn’t work, you can go to a small, white bucktail in the same areas. A chartreuse trailer won’t hurt your chances with the bucktail.
