Stripers: Guide Jeremy Seabolt, of Lake Nottely Fishing Charter, reports, “Our boats have been busy catching fish. The stripers are holding in summertime spots. We’re using downlines over 40- to 60-foot bottoms. The trolling bite has also picked up. We have been pulling lead core back 180 to 210 feet using 1-oz. Lake Nottely Fishing Charter Bucktails. The green and white have been working the best. Going into August, we will be working our way on down the lake to deeper water. The fish should be in mega schools by the time you are reading this. Start looking for the fish from Point 7 to the dam. The hot water stresses the fish out, so get them back in the water as fast as possible. If you’re looking to catch numbers of fish, now is the time do be on the lake.”
