Hartwell: Level: 4.3 feet below full pool. Temp: Low to mid 80s. Clarity: Clear.

Bass: Tournament angler Kerry Partain reports, “Bass fishing has been tougher this month with the hot summer and lower water level. The majority of the fish we are catching are scattered on the main-lake points. There has been very little schooling activity, but as the water temperature begins to fall in September, that should pick up. The bait and bass should start the fall transition later in the month and begin to feed more frequent throughout the day.”
