Lake Hartwell Fishing Report May 2018

Hartwell: Level: Full. Temp: Mid 60s. Clarity: Mostly clear.

Bass: Tournament angler Kerry Partain reports, “The bass fishing is good and should continue to improve each week. There are still some bedding and postspawn fish in the shallow pockets, points and flats. As we continue into May, expect the topwater action to explode as the bluebacks and threadfin move up to spawn. This time of year, I always keep a Zoom Super Fluke ready and make quick casts to any surface activity.”
