Lake Hartwell Fishing Report December 2016

GON Staff | November 22, 2016

Hartwell: Level: 9.7 feet low. Temp: Low 60s. Clarity: Clear.

Bass: Tournament angler Kerry Partain reports, “The lake is way down, so the bait and fish will be concentrated in the creek mouths and the major ditches. The seagulls and loons are finally starting to show up on the lake, so if you see them, that’s always a good place to start. I also scan the area with my electronics and then drop a jigging spoon on any fish I see actively feeding on bait.”
