Lake Blue Ridge Fishing Report – November 2010

GON Staff | October 29, 2010

Blue Ridge: Level: 60.1 feet below full pool. Temp: 66-67 degrees. Clarity: Stained.

Bass:
Slow. Eric Welch, of Reel Job Fishing, reports, “The fish are still scattered. The afternoon bite is the best right now. You can catch some bass by throwing a Shad Rap or a Norman Middle N in a shad pattern. If the wind is up, throw a 1/2-oz. War Eagle spinnerbait around any stump beds. You can also catch spots and smallmouths on drop shot and tube baits around drops or rocky points. Keep a Fluke Jr. tied on for any breaking fish. TVA lacks about 5 more feet on the drawdown. After that the lake should start to stabilize, just in time for the winter bite.”
