Clarks Hill Lake Fishing Report December 2015

GON Staff | November 24, 2015

Clarks Hill: Level: 0.7 feet above full pool. Temp: Low to mid 60s. Clarity: Slightly stained for the most part.

Linesides: Guide William Sasser reports, “With the cooler weather and water temperatures, the hybrids and stripers have started moving into the backs of the creeks. This time of year the majority of the stripers migrate either north toward the upper end of the lake or in Georgia Little River toward Raysville and Amity. During this run, the most effective method of catching the stripers is by pulling planer boards and freelines with herring and gizzard shad. Some of the other key areas to fish are South Carolina Little River and Soap Creek. There is also a decent amount of bird activity and surface activity, so be sure to watch for gulls working over schools of bait.”
