Clarks Hill Fishing Report January 2015

GON Staff | December 23, 2014

Clarks Hill: Level: 6.2 feet low. Temp: Mid 50s.

Bass: Good. Tournament fisherman Jon Hair reports, “The better fish are coming in ditches or pockets with hydrilla. Start out in 20 feet, and work shallower. Use Greenfish Tackle Shin Spin jig heads with a Super Fluke or Super Fluke Jr. Also throw Greenfish Tackle Creeper Heads and Big Rubber jigs. Keep a weightless fluke ready for any fish you see breaking. Later in the day, throw small crankbaits, like Shad Raps or other balsa flat baits.”
