Bartletts Ferry Fishing Report – September 2019

GON Staff | August 28, 2019

Bartletts Ferry: Level: 1.1 feet below full pool. Temp: Upper 80s. Clarity: Clear.

Bass: Tournament director and competitor Dennis Hudson reports, “Bass fishing is still tough. The topwater action is hit or miss, but it’s about the best bite going right now. Hollow-body frogs fished deep into cover and Horny Toads around grass are getting a few bites. Night fishing is fair. Small crankbaits and Texas rigs fished around dock lights will produce a few bass at night.”

Crappie: “The crappie fishing at night around the dock lights is fair,” Dennis said.
